In 2015, I photographed my first boudoir session. I fell in love and never turned back.
Not only was it the most fun I'd ever had behind the camera, but I could see right before my eyes the impact that it made on my client. She was nervous when we first started but throughout our session, she got more comfortable and confident. By the end, she was absolutely glowing.
When my client saw her images, she was speechless. She couldn't believe that she was seeing herself in the photos. She said that she had never felt so beautiful and that she finally believed her significant other when he told her how sexy she is. She said she felt like she could take on the world.
And that is why I do this. Seeing the very real process of people becoming comfortable in their own skin, realizing the healing that can happen from this art, and feeling the true empowerment that my clients walk away with is the most incredible feeling. The fact that I get to take beautiful photos of gorgeous humans for a living is just icing on the cake.
More about me
+ I was born and raised (and still live) in San Diego but travel feeds my soul. My favorite spots so far have been Seattle, New Orleans, Sedona and Bali. I try to go somewhere new every year (maybe this year I'll come to you).
+ No kids for me yet. I hope to have a whole squad one day, but until then my pup Olive is the scruffiest, goofiest, love of my life. (Catch her occasionally on my Instagram stories).
+ I don't drink alcohol anymore but I'll mock-tail with the best of them and I have a full-blown addiction to coffee. Seriously, coffee date?
+ Cooking is my love language and I especially love to bake. I once considered opening a bakery and am usually in charge of dessert for most parties.
